Everyone should help to make economic transformation: Minister of Finance

KATHMANADU: Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat has stated that participation of Nepalis both inside and outside the country is required for the country’s economic change.
Dr. Mahat made the remarks while addressing at the unveiling of Ganeshman Singh’s symbol in Bhaktapur on Tuesday.
He stated that the country’s economy has improved and that a positive environment for economic progress is required.
He stated that in order to foster a favorable environment for economic development, all economic activity should be coordinated.
He stated that there is no other option for all parties to join the campaign in order to fully engage in the country’s economic reform.
He said that the government is committed to establishing good governance and democratic values in the country.
He said, ‘We all have to work together to bring prosperity to the country. It is necessary to engage in economic activities by increasing investment by creating a positive atmosphere for economic progress in the country. Nepalis in the country and abroad should proceed with the campaign to participate in the economic transformation of the country with full confidence. The government is committed to establish good governance and democratic values and norms.’
He committed to help fund the infrastructure of Ganeshman Singh Park in collaboration with the local, state, and federal governments.
He stated that the government will fund the remainder of the park’s construction.
