Bishwa Prakash & Pradeep not to attend the meeting of Shekhar group

KATHMANDU: General Minister Bishwa Prakash Sharma and Central Member Pradeep Paudel would not attend the meeting of the Dr. Shekhar Koirala faction of the Nepali Congress.

Leader Paudel has stated that he will not attend the separate meeting scheduled by Leader Koirala prior to the Central Committee meeting. He said that he was leaving the valley for a particular assignment.

Shekhar also summoned General Minister Bishwa Prakash Sharma and leader Paudel to the meeting of other parties for the first time. However, neither of them will be present.

The General Committee meeting, according to General Minister Sharma, should produce a common perspective on the party’s policy, speed, and opinion.

According to sources, Sharma has already given a message to other groups that he will not attend the meeting. Today, he also hinted at a twist on Twitter.

Sharma clarified his opinion by writing three tweets.

Shekhar will meet with party leaders at the liaison office in Baluwatar at 1.30 p.m. Leader Koirala summoned the officials and central members elected from his party to the meeting.

The strategy to be presented at the meeting on Ashoj 4 (September 21) is said to be considered. In addition, General Minister Sharma and Paudel had previously attended a meeting convened by General Minister Gagan Thapa at the residence of leader Arjun Narasingha K.C. Leader Koirala was not in attendance.
