Bhutan team in Nepal to play SAFF U-19

KATHMANDU: Bhutan’s team has arrived in Nepal to compete in the SAFF U-19 tournament.
Bhutan’s youth football team has arrived in Kathmandu to compete in the event, which begins on Thursday.
Suresh Shah, an ANFA spokesperson, greeted the Bhutanese team at the airport.
The competition will begin on Thursday and will last through Ashoj 13 (Sept 30).
All tournament matches will be hosted in the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu.
The tournament features Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, and the Maldives.
Nepal is in Group A, alongside Pakistan and the Maldives. India, Bangladesh, and Bhutan are all covered under group insurance.
Nepal will start the tournament by playing against Pakistan on Thursday.
In the second match, they will play against Maldives on Monday.
