Actor Prasant Tamrakar in the movie ‘Mayavi’
Through this film, the winner of 'Man Hunt International Nepal 2016' Samim Khan is making his debut as a new hero.
KATHMANDU: Actor Prashant Tamrakar has been signed for the new Nepali film ‘Mayavi’ which is going to be directed by director Diwakar Bhattarai.
This is the third collaboration between Diwakar and Prashant after the films ‘Aishwarya’ and ‘Captain’.
For this film, Deepika Prasarai has been signed as the lead actress and Paul Shah and Sushil Sitaula as the main heroes. Similarly, actress Karishma Shrestha has also been signed.
Through this film, the winner of ‘Man Hunt International Nepal 2016’ Samim Khan is making his debut as a new hero.
In terms of collaboration, ‘Mayavi’ will be Deepika, Prashant and Diwakar’s second film after ‘Aishwarya’. Through this film, actor Raj Katuwal is making his debut in the film industry as a producer. This film, which is the story of director Bhattarai himself, is going to be produced under the banner of Creative Cine Arts.
The movie to be produced by Creative Cine Arts will have music by SD Yogi, lyrics by Ram Aviral Bishta, DOP by Raju Bikram Thapa.
The movie will go on floors from Ashoj 2 (Sept 19). Director Bhattarai informed that the shooting of the film will be done in the scenic location of Pokhara.
Diwakar has already directed the films ‘Mero Jeevan Saathi’, ‘Stupid Maan’, ‘Dreams’, ‘Aishwarya’ and ‘Captain’.
