Makwanpur Multipurpose Campus to be made into a University

KAATHMANDU: Makwanpur Multipurpose Campus in Hetauda will be transformed into a university.
The decision was made at an all-party meeting on Monday, presided over by Bagmati State Chief Minister Shalikram Jammar Kattel.
The meeting of the provincial government’s ministers, former ministers, leaders of various political parties, MPs, education-related disaster experts, and heads of administrative bodies agreed to make the campus a university in an all-party and all-party meeting organized by the sstate’s Ministry of Social Development.
Signatures will also be collected for the university’s building.
The participants in the meeting emphasized that since making the said campus a university is a matter of pride in itself, the work should be carried forward.
Former Chief Minister of the province Dormani Paudel, Staet Assembly members Eklal Shrestha, Laxmi Shrestha, Prem Bahadur Pulami, District Coordination Committee Makwanpur chief Lalit Ghalan, Nepali Congress Makwanpur chairman Buddha Lama and Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s Sagar Thapa participated attended the meeting.
