ING celebrated Teej with “Teej Ko Darr Program 2080”

KATHMANDU: ING celebrated the vibrant Haritalika Teej festival on Bhadra 29, 2080, with its annual “Teej Ko Darr Program 2080.”

This joyous event took place at Islington College, bringing together our female team members to commemorate and embrace the rich cultural heritage of ING.

The day was packed with fun activities like a ramp walk, a thrilling dance contest, delicious food, and cheerful celebrations.

The dance competition was the highlight of the event, Around 400 female employees work at ING, and around 80 of them participated in the dance competition both in solo and group performances.

The participants showcased their creativity and talent through their synchronised dance moves and beautiful costumes.

The dance competition was judged by a panel of professional dancers and celebrities, including:

● Sadichha Shrestha – Former Miss Nepal
● Pinky Sapkota – Entrepreneur, Founder, Professional/Certified Dancer, Bellydance Artist

The winners of the dance competition were:

● First Prize: ING Foods (NATARAJ TROPHY with Rs. 50,000 cash prize)
● Second Prize: Islington College with a cash prize of Rs, 25,000
● Third Prize: Solo performance from Innovate Tech with a cash prize of Rs, 10,000

In addition to the dance competition, the event also featured a ramp walk, delicious food, and lots of celebration. The female team members came dressed in shades of red and pink, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Each and every female team member was gifted sarees and kurtas with lovely “made in Nepal” handbags and personalized Teej greeting cards.

The “Teej Ko Darr Program 2080” was an outstanding success, uniting female team members from various departments within ING to commemorate Teej and celebrate the vibrant culture of our organisation.

Today, and every day, we honour the presence of these incredible women who consistently offer us their support, present us with challenges, and inspire us year after year.

This event served as a powerful testament to ING’s unwavering dedication to diversity and inclusion, as well as our profound appreciation for the remarkable contributions of our female employees.
