Int’l circus festival held in Russia

KATHMANDU: The International Circus Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia, has concluded.

The second international circus festival “Without Borders” took place on Sunday in Saint Louis, Russia’s second largest city. During the four-day festival, 200 artists from more than ten nations performed acrobatics, magic, diabolo shows, and other circus acts, including Russia, China, Mexico, Italy, and Ethiopia.

The festival is conducted in collaboration with the Russian Ministry of Culture and the Russian State Circus Company.

According to Russian Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova, the festival is an important cultural event for Russia since it attracts the best artistic talent from around the world.
