PSG slump to first defeat of season

KATHMANDU: Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) were defeated for the first time this season. PSG lost 3-2 to Nice on Friday night.
Despite scoring two goals, Kylian Mbappe was unable to save PSG from losing. PSG coach Luis Enrique has suffered his first defeat.
Nice took the lead early on thanks to Terem Moffi. PSG quickly equalized thanks to Mbappe’s goal. Gaetan Laborde restored the visitors’ lead to 2-1.
Nice moved closer to win thanks to Moffi’s second personal goal. Mbappe scored the game’s second goal late in the game, but it was not enough to keep the side from losing.
Mbappe, France’s captain, has scored seven goals in his last four games since rejoining the team.
With the win, Nice has moved down PSG to the second place in the table. Top place Monaco has 10 points, second place Nice has 9 points and PSG has 8 points.
