Deepak Bista left for Turkey to attend World Olympian Conference
More than 150 Olympians from around the world will participate in the conference organized by the World Olympian Association on Sept 16 and 17 in Istanbul.

KATHMANDU: Deepak Bista, Chair of the Nepal Olympian Association, has left for the World Olympian Conference, which begins on Thursday in Istanbul, Turkey.
More than 150 Olympians from around the world will participate in the conference organized by the World Olympian Association on Sept 16 and 17 in Istanbul.
President Bista will present the Nepal Olympian Association’s activities during the last two years. He also stated that he will submit a proposal to hold an Asian Olympiad assembly in Nepal.
‘Our goal is to arrange the Asian Conference of Olympians in Nepal, and we will present a proposal to do so,’ Bista added.
Olympian Bista was bid farewell by Nepal Olympic Committee Chair Jeevan Ram Shrestha, General Secretary Nilendra Raj Shrestha, Nepal National and International Sports Association Chair Deepak Shrestha, Olympian Association General Secretary Rajendra Bhandari and others on Thursday.
