KATHMANDU: Those who know actor Raj Katuwal know him as a model and actor. Raj, who has acted in films like as ‘Leela’ and ‘Laltin,’ is now transitioning from hero to producer.
Raj is also a former member of the Film Development Board (FDB).
Raj is about to step into production with the film ‘Mayavi’. Renowed director Diwakar Bhattarai will direct this film.

Deepika Prasain has already been signed as the lead actress, and Paul Shah, Sushil Sitaula, and model Samim Khan have been signed as the lead actors for this love story film.
Actor Paul is making his silver screen debut with this film after almost one and a half years, while Samim is making his debut with this film.
The film will have director Bhattarai’s own story. Bhattarai is returning to directing after almost four years.
Creative Cine Arts is prepared to go on floors on Ashoj 2 (Sept 19), revealing all of the remaining actors and technicians for the film to be produced by Creative Cine Arts.
SD Yogi will compose the music, Ram Aviral Bishta will write the lyrics, and Raju Bikram Thapa will direct the film.
The film will be shot in Pokhara, which is a beautiful site. According to the production team, the story of this film is set in the Pokhara area.
