Sri Lanka scored 172 runs in 41.3 overs while chasing India’s 214-run goal. Earlier, India batted first after winning the toss and scored 213 runs in 49.1 overs.
In the Super Four, India defeated Pakistan and Sri Lanka, earning four points in two matches and a place in the finals. India will now face Bangladesh in the final match of the Super Four.
Similarly, the winner of the Super Four match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, who played 2-2 matches and scored 2-2 points, will be the next country to reach the final. Bangladesh was eliminated from the competition after losing two consecutive games.
