Petition filed with ANFA Chair & General Secretary demanding their dismissal

KATHMANDU: All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Chair Pankaj Vikram Nemwang and general secretary Kiran Rai have been demanded to be dismissed.

The other groups dissatisfied with the founding party and the group that lost the last election submitted a motion of no confidence against ANFA Chair Nemwang and General Secretary Rai on Monday at the ANFA central office.

48 members have signed the motion of no confidence registered under the leadership of ANFA former Chair Karma Tshering Sherpa.

Indraman Tuladhar, Chair of Sankata Club, reported that the group registered a resolution of no confidence on Monday morning via email and submitted it to Bir Bahadur Khadka, Senior Vice Chair of ANFA.

According to the disgruntled group, they presented a petition to hold a special general meeting with the signatures of 40% of ANFA members in compliance with Article 36 (3) of the ANFA constitution.

According to the statute, Ashoj 23 must hold an extraordinary general meeting upon the request of 40% of the members.

The members’ petition states that if the general meeting is not called, they will call the general meeting.
