Account numbers for all Prime Bank customers undergoing changes, such is the reason
The bank has informed that starting Saturday, Bhadra 23 (Sept 9), the account number, which is currently 10 digits/letters, will be changed to 20 digits.

KATHMANDU: The account number of all customers of Prime Commercial Bank is set to change.
The bank has informed that starting Saturday, Bhadra 23 (Sept 9), the account number, which is currently 10 digits/letters, will be changed to 20 digits.
The bank has stated that new account transactions can be completed using the customer’s current check and ATM card, and that the new account number will be updated by replacing the previous account numbers used in mobile banking, internet banking, ConnectIPS, and other services.
The bank has also requested that the customer change the new 20-digit account number in all other entities, such as broker and demat accounts.
The bank has stated that the Core Banking System (CBS) will be updated, as well as the account number.
The system will be updated by the bank on Friday, 22nd Bhadra (Sept 8), between 10:00 PM night and 12:00.
All services, including ATMs and mobile banking, would be interrupted at that time, according to the bank.
