KATHMANDU: Pakistan has won a great victory over Bangladesh in the Super Four match of the Asia Cup.
Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 7 wickets at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Wednesday night.
Pakistan will now compete against India in the next Super Four match.
Pakistan achieved the target of 194 runs presented by Bangladesh by losing only 3 wickets.
Imam-ul-Haq scored 78 and Mohammad Rizwan scored an unbeaten 63 to give Pakistan an easy victory.
Fakhar Zaman went out for 20 runs, while Babar Azam scored 17 runs.
Bangladesh batted first and scored 193 runs by going all out.
Bangladesh’s Mushfiqur Rahim scored 64 runs, while Shakib Al Hasan scored 53. Mohammad Nabi scored 20 runs, while Liton Das and Shamim Hossain each scored 16 runs and were both out.
Haris Rauf of Pakistan took the most wickets with four, while Nasim Shah took three. Shaheen Afridi, Faheem Ashraf, and Iftikhar Ahmed each took a wicket.
