KATHMANDU: The final hearing of Nepali leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane’s rape case will be held in District Court, Kathmandu on Thursday.
His case is being heard by Judge Shakuntala Karki. As his case is number three, a final debate is possible.
Previously, the debate on Sandeep’s case had been repeatedly postponed.
After the District Court in Kathmandu agreed to pay the verdict today, the hearing is set for number three today. The case was previously placed on the ‘do not see’ list on Bhadra 10 (Aug 27). Following that, the court scheduled another payment for today.
Because of the Asia Cup situation, Sandeep was unable to travel to Pakistan with the team. However, he arrived in Pakistan late.
The Nepali team exited the group round after matches against Pakistan and India, returning home only on Wednesday.
