NA Speaker instructions: make remaining laws according to constitution & submit them to parliament
Following the National Assembly meeting on Monday, Speaker Timilsina directed the government to develop the remaining laws in accordance with the constitution and present them to the parliament in order of priority.

KATHMANDU: The Speaker of the National Assembly, Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, has instructed the government to draft the remaining laws according to the constitution and submit them to the parliament on the basis of priority.
Following the National Assembly meeting on Monday, Speaker Timilsina directed the government to develop the remaining laws in accordance with the constitution and present them to the parliament in order of priority.
He has also directed that the recommendations in the research report 2080 of the pending laws be implemented in accordance with the constitution.
He stated that legislation need be enacted in order to ensure good governance and efficiently execute federalism. He stated that the constitution’s implementation should be finished by closing legal voids.
He said that in order to run the state in an orderly manner and maintain good governance, to implement federalism effectively, to fill legal gaps and also to complete the implementation of the constitution, the study report of pending laws mentioned in the study report 2080 of pending laws should be formulated and submitted to the parliament on a priority basis. I also direct the Government of Nepal to implement the other suggestions contained in the report. The government will seriously follow this directive of the assembly.’
The next meeting of the National Assembly has been called to be held on Sunday, Bhadra 24 (Spet 10) at 11:00 am.
