Faith that the govt to control corruption is lost: Congress leader KC
MP KC expressed his displeasure that the government is becoming a bystander while social cohesion in the country deteriorates.

KATHMANDU: Arjun Narsingh KC, a senior member of the ruling Nepali Congress party, has stated that he does not believe the current government will manage corruption.
MP KC claims that the transfer of police personnel without even allowing them to work for a year has caused them to lose faith in the current government’s ability to combat corruption.
He warned the government of corruption files being opened one after the other during a special session of the House of Representatives on Monday, claiming the situation is collapsing in the midst.
MP KC expressed his displeasure that the government is becoming a bystander while social cohesion in the country deteriorates.
He aid, ‘The whole country is suffering from corruption and smuggling. As long as the corruption cannot be solved by reaching the root in the right way, there can be no guarantee of good governance. A corruption-free society is the basis for guaranteeing good governance. The files are opened one after the other. But none of them will come to an end and in the meantime, the circumstances of that collapse have appeared. Honourable Speaker, 5 months and less than 7 months now, the way police officers have changed. What is the reason for that change, why will the rupee remain for at least one year, it is a general rule. The way in which it has been transferred. The belief that it will generally control corruption activities has been lost. Let the government be cautious in this direction.’
MP KC repeatedly reiterated that since the recommendations of the commissions formed in the past for corruption control were not implemented, it is not possible to expect that the commission to be formed will do anything.
