Government decides to celebrate Constitution Day for three days
According to him, the meeting decided to commemorate Constitution Day with a variety of ceremonies on Ashoj 2, 3, and 4 (Sept 19,20 & 21).

KATHMANDU: The government is going to celebrate Constitution Day for three days this year.
Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Prakash Jwala stated that the decision was made during the Constitution Day Main Celebration Committee meeting held on Sunday at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers office Singha Durbar.
According to him, the meeting decided to commemorate Constitution Day with a variety of ceremonies on Ashoj 2, 3, and 4 (Sept 19,20 & 21).
On Ashoj 2 (Sept 19), commemorative publications, debates, seminars, and engagement programs will be organized, and on Ashoj 3 (Sept 20), a special event will be held at Sainik Manch Tundikhel.
He said, ‘Today’s meeting has decided to celebrate Constitution Day with various ceremonies for 3 days on Ashoj 2, 3, and 4 (Sept 19,20 & 21). The decision was taken by the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of the Constitution Day Main Celebration Committee. On the 2nd, various programs like commemorative publications, dialogues, seminars, and interaction programs will be held. On the 3rd, a grand, large program will be held, a special ceremony will be held at Sainik Manch Tundikhel, and a large program will be held throughout the country. Foreign embassies and diplomatic missions will also celebrate this day, celebrating the Constitution Day by celebrating Diwali in the evening for three days.’
Minister Jwala said that the government will light lamps in the evening for three days on the occasion of Constitution Day.
