Writ against Koshi’s CM in the Joint Bench of Malla & Mathema

KAATHMANDU: The petition filed against the vote of confidence of the Chief Minister of Koshi has been fixed in the joint bench of Justices Sapana Pradhan Malla and Sushmalata Mathema.

The petition filed by former Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki in the Supreme Court with the claim that the vote of confidence taken by Chief Minister Uddhav Thapa is unconstitutional has been fixed for hearing.

When Chief Minister Thapa took the vote of confidence from the State Assembly, the former Chief Minister Karki, who is also the leader of the UML Parliamentary Party, filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court.
