Tragic incident at Pepsicola: Youth dies, 9 injured, including women, armed & electrical workers
The accident took place when a passenger bus Ba 3 Kha 4848 and a Bolero Ba 6 Kha 5342 coming from the opposite direction collided at around 7 o'clock on Sunday morning.
KATHMANDU: One person died and 9 others were injured in a road accident in Chhapro, Kathmandu.
The accident took place when a passenger bus Ba 3 Kha 4848 and a Bolero Ba 6 Kha 5342 coming from the opposite direction collided at around 7 o’clock on Sunday morning.
After the bus toppled, Bagmati State 02 P 5311 scooter and Bagmati State 02 P 4838 motorbike were also wrecked. One guy on a motorcycle was killed, while two women on scooters were injured. Raj Bhattarai, 21, of the district Sarlahi Shanti Tole-1, has been identified as one of the victims.
According to Assistant Inspector Rabichandra Pudasaini, the scooter driver was mildly injured, while one pilion rider was critically injured. There were 5 electrical employees in the Bolero, according to the police.
They are being treated at Pepsicola’s Motherland Hospital. Others are being treated in the Minbhawan Civil Hospital. The road, which had been closed earlier in the morning, has now reopened.
