KATHMANDU: Today, the Supreme Court is hearing the final hearing on the petition filed by the CPN-UML against the ‘vote of confidence’ taken by the Chief Minister of Koshi State, Uddhav Thapa.
The UML filed a petition in the Supreme Court claiming that the ruling party had acted contrary to the constitution saying that even the members who presided over the State Assembly meeting had given a vote of confidence to the Chief Minister.
The full hearing on the writ was scheduled for Friday, but the judge refused to hear the case, but it was postponed to today.
