ŠKODA unveils new Kushaq Monte Carlo edition in Nepal

KATHMANDU: MAW Expanze Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of European luxury cars, ŠKODA, has officially started the sales of the new ŠKODA Kushaq Monte Carlo edition in Nepal.

The Czech car brand has dedicated this ‘European Style’ edition to the ŠKODA’s motorsport heritage and its victories in Monte Carlo Rally over a period of century.

“The Kushaq Monte Carlo is a car that appeals to the heart, to one willing to go the extra mile for the unique, subtle and sporty aesthetics. The Monte Carlo highlights a discrete sense of European style. It is homage to the fact that you are driving a name soaked in pedigree and legacy of rally sport, providing a thrilling experience,” said Mr Raunak Agarwal, Executive Director of MAW Expanze.

The new Kushaq Monte Carlo gets visual changes in the form of blacked-out bits and red accents in the cabin, along with add-ons to the feature list. The new ŠKODA Kushaq Monte Carlo is available in two exciting colors: Tornado Red or Candy White. All the chrome has been replaced with a black finish, like the grille, ORVMs, and other cosmetic bits that gave Kushaq a sportier look. It is armed with a powerful yet efficient 1.0 TSI petrol engine that produces a power of 114 HP and torque of 178Nm. The price of Kushaq Monte Carlo for manual and automatic transmission Rs 71, 90,000/- and Rs 79, 90,000/- respectively.

The wheels are 17-inch alloys, with a design similar to that of the Skoda Octavia RS 245. The fenders get Monte Carlo badging instead of the company’s name, while the roof is offered in a carbon steel finish with matte black roof rails.

ŠKODA has now introduced an 8-inch digital instrument cluster for the Kushaq Monte Carlo with a red theme to go with the overall package. The layout of the cabin has not been altered. However, there are ruby-red metallic inserts in the cabin to give it a sporty vibe. The seat upholstery is also a mix of red and black, with Monte Carlo stitched on the headrests. Other features include red ambient lighting, a 10-inch infotainment display with a red theme. As the Monte Carlo edition is based on the top trim, all the features offered with the Kushaq Style are also available.

The new ŠKODA Kushaq Monte Carlo is available for test drive and booking at the ŠKODA showroom, Thapathali and dealers’s yard.
