KATHMANDU: Lebanon is willing to negotiate a boundary solution with Israel.
Lebanon’s Foreign Minister, Abdullah Bou Habib, stated on Thursday that the country is willing to speak with Israel to resolve the border issue.
Along with the definition of the water border between Lebanon and Israel, negotiations for the demarcation of the land border have begun.
He stated that the border issue should be settled through discussion.
Currently, Israel and Lebanon have disputes over 13 locations. After a month-long war in 2006, the problem is being resolved through discussions between the two countries.
