In Pics: Kathmandu’s Gai Jatra

KATHMANDU: People in the valley have been driven to decorate like cows in the market since this morning.

Due to the fact that Janai Purnima and Gai Jatra coincided on the same day on Thursday, some people observed Gai Jatra today.

Gai Jatra is held every year for eight days, from Bhadrakrishna Pratipada to Ashtami, with numerous programs. Throughout the year, Gai Jatra is celebrated in memory of those who have died.
