One held on charges of extortion

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 42-year-old Dinesh Pandit, resident of Katari Municipality-4 Jahadi, Morang Biratnagar Metropolitan Municipality-16, on the charge of raping a 28-year-old woman.

On the basis of the complaint that the Pandit forced the woman by threatening her, the police stationed from the district police office Katari arrested him.

The police is conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
