Speaking at the letter exchange program, Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat said that the Nepalese people will benefit from the road upgrade and power supply work to be done through the MCC project.
KATHMANDU: Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) project implementation has started.
In a program held at the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday, Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat and Cameron Alford, Vice President for Compact Operations of MCC, exchanged letters regarding the entry into the implementation phase of MCC Nepal Compact (Entry into Force – EIF), and the project entered the implementation phase.
Speaking at the letter exchange program, Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat said that the Nepalese people will benefit from the road upgrade and power supply work to be done through the MCC project.
He expressed his happiness that he was able to announce the official start of the implementation of the power transmission project and the road maintenance project.
Along with this, the MCC project will start the specified work and actions.
