Gold Scandal: 3 more held including Krishna Mahara’s son Rahul

KATHMANDU: Three more people have been arrested in connection with gold smuggling, including Rahul, the son of former Speaker and CPN Maoist Centre leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara.

Ganesh Poudel and Kishore Basnet were taken into custody.

They were apprehended by Nepal Police’s Central Investigation Bureau (CIB).

They were arrested on charge of smuggling 9 kilograms of gold concealed in a vape.
