KATHMANDU:  A dispute ensued subsequent to the demise of a patient at Dhangadhi’s Swastik Hospital.

The hospital remained tense all day Monday following the death of a patient in treatment.

According to Rajkumar Chaudhary, the deceased’s relative, three points were agreed upon in the agreement: covering the deceased’s son Jyoti Prakash Chaudhary’s education expenses, operational expenditures, and taking action against Doctor Jonas Tiwari who was careless in treatment.

Aijanlal Chaudhary, 55, of Shivanagar, Belauri Municipality 10, Kanchanpur, died after being admitted to the hospital for treatment. He died as a result of heavy bleeding after the doctor removed his left kidney during therapy, according to the hospital.

Earlier, after Chaudhary’s death, the relatives began a feud.

Although 14 mm and 9.5 mm stones were removed during kidney surgery, the patient’s relatives grew enraged, claiming that the patient died as a result of a surgical error.
