NC to organize BP literature festival from Sept 10

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress is going to organize BP Sahitya Mahotsav (BP Literary Festival) 2080 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the founding leader of the Congress, BP Koirala.

Congress is going to hold BP Sahitya Mahotsav, 2080 on the occasion of BP Koirala’s 110th birth anniversary which falls on Bhadra 24 (Sept 10).

Min Bishwakarma, Head of Information, Communication, and Publicity Department, said that the event will be conducted at Congress Central Office Sanepa, Lalitpur, on the 24th, 25th, and 26th of Bhadra (Sept 10,11,12) in conjunction with Congress Central Office and Nepali Writers Association.

The talks and sessions of the festival will be held on the topics of psychoanalytical literature and individuality, sahitya paryabaran, samay ra sabalantan, Nepal ko bhasama sahitya, BP ka aakhyanma naari, BP ka aakhyanma madhesh, BP ka dristi ma BP, BP le an paayeaka 15 barsha.

Similarly, the Head of Propaganda Department Vishwakarma announced that sessions on BP in international politics and diplomacy, inclusivity, social reform, and BP, reading BP in the young generation, and BP understood by the family will be held.

The festival will have a poetry evening, a ghazal evening, a musical evening, a painting exhibition, a documentary exhibition, and a historical photo show, according to him.

Congress has invited academics, intellectuals, scholars, and anyone else interested in literature and politics to attend the festival.

Bishwakarma, Head of Publicity Department, said that the details of the program, scheduled topics, speakers and facilitators and the schedule of the festival will be announced soon.
