‘Bill 2080 to amend some Nepal Acts related to the State Code’ certification
The National Assembly has received a letter from President Ppudel certifying the bill passed by both houses of the Federal Parliament and submitted to the President's Office on 12th Shrawan (July 28).
KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Poudel has approved the ‘Bill 2080 regarding the amendment of some Nepal Acts related to the National Code’.
The National Assembly has received a letter from President Ppudel certifying the bill passed by both houses of the Federal Parliament and submitted to the President’s Office on 12th Shrawan (July 28).
In the National Assembly meeting held on Sunday, Speaker Ganesh Prasad Timilsina informed that the letter confirming the bill by the President was received from the President’s Office.
He said, ‘There is a request from the Honorable President Ramchandra Poudel that the following Bill, which has been certified in accordance with Article 113, Clause 2 of the Constitution of Nepal, has been sent herewith. Bill 2080 regarding the amendment of some Nepal Acts related to the Civil Code. Validation Date: 2080/4/12.’
According to Chair Timilsina, the bill was certified by the President according to Article 113, Clause 2 of the Constitution of Nepal.
