KATHMANDU: The case against Sandeep Lamichhane, the former captain of Nepal’s national cricket team, is set to be heard today.

Sandeep’s rape case is still ongoing at the Kathmandu District Court. The case’s final hearing has been postponed multiple times. The final hearing has been scheduled on Sunday by the court.
A 17-year-old girl had filed a complaint at Gaushala police circle on Bhadra 21 (Sept 6) last year, saying that Sandeep took her to a hotel in Kathmandu and raped her.
The complainant named ‘Gaushala 26’ has been admitted to the hospital since Saturday. It is said that he was admitted to the hospital after consuming an excessive amount of the medicine he was taking.
