Police constable Hemraj, critically injured in accident, passes away

KATHMANDU: A police constable who was injured in an accident in Kailali passed away.

Last Shrawan 14, on Sunday evening, a motorcycle with the registration number Sudur Paschim 01011 P 7320 was hit by a tractor with the registration number Supr 01 002 Ta 6419 near Chaukidanda in Godawari Municipality-3 along the East-West Highway.

In the collision, Hemraj Dauka, a police constable stationed at the temporary police post Rajpur Doti, was gravely hurt.

According to the District Police Office Kailali, he died while receiving treatment at Maya Metro Hospital Dhangadhi.

Dau, working at the temporary police post Rajpur Doti, met with a motorcycle accident while on a 4-day holiday.

His hometown is Talkot in Bajhang.
