The meeting became uncertain after Deputy Speaker Srijana Danuwar came to Kathmandu after informing that she was ill.
Meanwhile, ruling Nepali Congress MP Khagen Singh Hangam has stated that they will go to Parliament to vote on the Chief Minister’s confidence.
“We will go as 47 people to give a vote of confidence to the Chief Minister, we will know why the House will run or not after we go,” he said, “the Deputy Speaker running away without informing anyone will not solve the problem!”
The agenda for Monday’s meeting, convened by Chief Minister Uddhav Thapa at 1 p.m., includes a vote of confidence.
Deputy Speaker Danuwar, on the other hand, arrived in Kathmandu after convening the Working Arrangement Consultative Committee at 8 a.m.
Four members were assigned to conduct the meeting in the absence of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker in the Koshi State Assembly.
In which the senior member Maltikumari Limbu has given notice that she will be absent on Bhadra 1 (Aug 18). Amber Bahadur Beast, who is in alphabetical order, has also informed about the same incident on Bhadra 1 (Aug 18).
Because of this, Deputy Speaker Danuwar has written a letter to Mansuri to preside over the meeting.
