KATHMANDU: An Armed Police Force unit rescued two Nepalese children who were being sent to India.
According to the Armed Police, the 9-month-old daughter of Shivpujan Mahato and the 2-year-old son of local Premchandra Mahato, Satyam Kumar Mahato, who live in Nanki Amuwa, Devthal Rural Municipality-3, Bara, were rescued.
Tabrej Alam, a 22-year-old Indian national who was carrying children in a sack, was also apprehended.
According to reports, the youngster was discovered when the BOP South Jhitkaiya of the Armed Police Force Nepal No. 12 was investigated after hearing the sound of children weeping. The youngsters have been given to their parents.
