3 complaints against proposed CJ Shrestha, parliamentary hearing from today

KATHMANDU: The parliamentary hearing of proposed Chief Justice Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha will be held today, according to the decision of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee.

If someone believes he is unfit for the post, the committee shall make a complaint within 10 days with a clear foundation and supporting proof.
The parliamentary hearing of the prospective Chief Justice will begin on Monday once the committee receives information from the complainant.
The parliamentary hearing committee has summoned him for 11:30 a.m. today.
According to Pashupati Shumsher JB Rana, a senior member of the committee, a discussion with the complaint will take place at 10:30 a.m., and the trial of the proposed Chief Justice Shrestha will begin shortly after.
Earlier, documents were distributed to the members to inform them about the complaints received in the meeting.
During the parliamentary hearing, he will present his qualification, experience, action plan and concept. It is said that the parliamentary committee will decide whether to approve his name or not after getting information about all the subjects.
