KATHMANDU: An all-party meeting has commenced at the Prime Minister’s Office, Singha Durbar.

The meeting started at the Prime Minister’s call.

According to reports, the meeting would primarily address the subject of the main opposition party’s obstruction of resuming Parliament.

However, the main opposition UML Chair KP Sharma Oli did not attend the meeting.

UML Parliamentary Party Deputy Leader Subas Nemwang and Parliamentary Party Chief Whip Padam Giri attended the meeting.

Similarly, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Deputy Chair Purna Bahadur Khadka, RPP President Ravbi Lamichhane, RPP Chair Rajendra Lingden and other party leaders are participating.

UML has been protesting since July 10, demanding the formation of a high-level investigation committee to investigate the gold smuggling case.
