Tragic collision in Dhungedhara claims two lives as bus collides with bike
Both critically injured people died at Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital Maharajgunj during treatment.

KATHMANDU: A bus collision in Kathmandu’s Dhungedhara forest area has killed two persons.
Two individuals were murdered this morning when a bus belonging to Gorkha Daraudi Transport Company Pvt. Na5Kha5092 travelling from Balaju to Kalanki collided with a motorcycle numbered Pradesh 02-037P 0755 travelling in the opposite way.
The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Anita Thapa of Sindhupalchowk Sangachokgadi Municipality and unidentified 32-year-old Ramkumar Bharti.
Both critically injured people died at Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital Maharajgunj during treatment, according to Police Superintendent Kumod Dhungel, the premises’ spokeswoman.
Anisha Thapa, a nine-year-old girl, was injured in the accident. Thapa, who was injured due to a head injury, is being treated at Manmohan Hospital.
Spokesman Dhungel said that the police have detained the bus and the driver involved in the accident and are conducting necessary investigations.
