KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha has said that the campaign of good governance will not stop.
He said that even if the protectors of corruption and smugglers try to encircle the good governance campaign, the campaign will not stop.
Inaugurating the ‘Bachchek Basic Hospital’ in Bachchek located in Ajirkot Rural Municipality-2 of Gorkha, Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha said that he is not afraid of the threats of thugs, smugglers and patrons of corruption. ‘No one would think that we will keep the government and the minister under siege. We have not come for positions, but to serve the country and the people,” he said. “As long as we remain in the government, this good governance campaign will not stop.”
Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha also made it clear that good governance will begin by providing fast and efficient services to citizens and ending impunity.
e also expressed happiness that Ajirkot Rural Municipality is taking leaps in development with the exemplary leadership of Chair Deepak Devkota and Vice Chair Anita Bhujel.
