Two more Chinese nationals detained in gold case
The number of those arrested has reached 23, including the two arrested last night.

KATHMANDU: The Central Bureau of Investigation has detained two additional Chinese nationals on charge of smuggling 60 kilograms 716 grams of gold from Hong Kong.
They were apprehended last night in Kathmandu, according to the police.
On Shrawan 31 (Aug 16), the CIB apprehended four Chinese nationals. Tian Mi and Wen Tong were arrested on Wednesday. They ran the ‘KTB’ restaurant in Thamel.
The inquiry indicated that Ding Segfa and Li-Nengkai were involved in the transit of gold from Tribhuvan International Airport.
21 people, including 53-year-old Thapten Tshiring, an Indian national of Tibet, Jiquan Lin, a Chinese citizen, and Dawa Tshiring, a Belgian citizen of Tibet, were arrested on charges of gold smuggling.
