Samba scored on her debut in the European competition

KATHMANDU: Forward Sabitra Bhandari ‘Samba’ scored her debut goal. Hapoel Ra’anana began the new season with a victory.

In the second round of the Athena Cup, Hapoel Ra’anana defeated Hadera 2-0.

Ra’anana’s Adi Golden and Samba both scored one goal. Sabitra has also made history by scoring a goal in the European League’s knockout tournament.

The club will now compete in the competition’s next round. The game will take place on Monday.

Ranana will start their league journey in the top division after two weeks.

Eight teams playing in the top division league are participating in Athena Cup.

Samba reached there about two weeks ago to play in the Israeli league.
