Heavy rains in these two states today (three days forecast)

KATHMANDU: According to the Meteorology Division, the low-pressure line of the monsoon is north of Sardar, i.e. near Nepal.

As a result of which there is a partial to general change across the country.

Light rain is falling at one or two places in Gandaki and Bagmati States.

The sky will be partly to partly cloudy across the country in the afternoon. There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder in some hilly sections of the country and a few places elsewhere.

In addition, severe rain and lightning are possible in one or two areas in Gandaki State. Wind and storms are also possible in a few Terai locations in the states of Koshi, Madhesh, and Lumbini.

At night, there is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder in some sections of Bagmati and Gandaki States, including Koshi province, and a few other places in the state. In addition, severe rain with lightning is possible in one or two areas of Koshi and Gandaki States.
