Four more Chinese held in gold smuggling case

KATHMANDU: Four more Chinese nationals have been apprehended in connection with the gold smuggling investigation.
The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police arrested them from Kathmandu on Wednesday.
The names of the four people arrested on a charge of complicity in the smuggling of 60 kg of gold seized on Shrawan 3 (July 19) have not been released.
The police kept them for five days before transporting them to Kathmandu’s district court for investigation.
Previously, 17 persons were arrested in this case.
