3 more Chinese arrested in gold smuggling case
They were apprehended by Nepal Police's Central Investigation Bureau (CIB).
KATHMANDU: Three additional Chinese nationals have been apprehended in connection with gold smuggling.
They were apprehended by Nepal Police’s Central Investigation Bureau (CIB).
Chinese citizens Zhao Hui, Zhong Qiang, and Tang Jing are among those detained.
So far, 23 people have been arrested in this investigation, including these three individuals.
The Revenue Investigation Department seized 155 kg of ‘brake shoe’ containing gold from Sinamangal on Shrawan 2 (July 18).
The weight is greater than 60 kg after removing the brake shoe.
