One week hockey solidarity program begins
A total of 30 people have participated in the program including coaches, judges and union officials.

KATHMANDU: The one-week Olympic Solidarity program has started from Tuesday with the technical support of Asia Hockey organized by the Nepal Hockey Association.
Asia Hockey Event Manager Development Officer Zahid Ali will conduct instruction at the program, which will be hosted at the Nepal Olympic Committee’s Satdobato headquarters.
A total of 30 people have participated in the program including coaches, judges and union officials.
The program will provide training on the technical aspects of hockey coaches and referees.
Similarly, event management training will be provided. Ali, the team’s coach, is a former Pakistan international player.
Along with academic knowledge of hockey, practical knowledge will be imparted during training.
The special program was started by Jeevanram Shrestha, President of the Nepal Olympic Committee.
On that occasion, he voiced his belief that the personnel developed by this training will help to revitalize Nepal’s hockey game.
