KATHMANDU: The Nepali movie ‘Rangeli Gangsters,’ which has gained popularity since its announcement, has been renamed ‘Rangeli’. The production team released a press release in which it announced that its name had been altered.

It is believed that changing the title of the declaration will help to maintain a positive, united, and respectful tone in our society. “The shooting location of this movie was decided to change the title through a mutual agreement in Rangeli of Morang district,” it has been stated. Local community leaders and organizations demanded that the title of this movie be changed. The title has been changed in response to their request. However, no modifications have been made to the film’s script.”

In addition, the release date of ‘Rangeli’ has been formally set for Falgun 25, 2080 (March 8, 2024), on the festival of Maha Shivaratri, according to a statement

This movie will star Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, Arpan Thapa, Praveen Khatiwada, and others.

The filming of the movie will begin on Bhadra 20 (Spet 6).

The writer and director of the movie is Arjun Subedi. The executive producers are Jeetendra Khatiwada and Anuj Jung Thapa. It is produced by Sansar Chaulagai and Ramesh Bhattarai Bashishth, while Yuvak Karki and Shiv Thapalia are co-producers. Bibek Khadka (Yolo) is the associate producer. This movie is being shot by Sushan Prajapati.
