HoR meeting adjourned after the opposition party UML interrupted (photos)
Following the interruption of the meeting by UML legislators at the start, the ruling party parliamentarians adopted a tactic of not allowing them to stand and speak.

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives held on Friday was disrupted after the main opposition UML raised slogans demanding the formation of a high-level committee to investigate gold smuggling.
Following the interruption of the meeting by UML legislators at the start, the ruling party parliamentarians adopted a tactic of not allowing them to stand and speak.
After Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire granted time for UML MP Jwala Kumari Sah to speak, ruling party MPs rose and planned a blockade. After the ruling party MPs stood up, the UML MPs surrounded the well and chanted anti-government and anti-ruling party chants.
The House of Representatives meeting was adjourned even today after UML MPs raised protests. The meeting has been rescheduled for one o’clock on Monday, Shrawan 29 (Aug 14).
