Speaker and National Assembly Chair call on President

KATHMANDU: Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire and National Assembly Chair Ganesh Prasad Timilsina called on President Ram Chandra Poudel at the Office of the President in Sheetal Niwas today.

On the occasion, they held discussions on removing the ongoing obstruction in the Parliament, the Parliament Secretariat stated.

The Speaker and the Upper House Chair informed the President on the efforts made at running the House business.

During the meeting, Speaker Ghimire and Chair Timilsina expected assistance from the Head-of-State also for removing the parliament impasse, it is stated.
