KATHMANDU: Two Chinese nationals, most wanted in the gold smuggling case, have been arrested.
The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police arrested the two most wanted Chinese nationals from Tribhuvan International Airport in the morning.
According to CIB sources, Chinese citizens Li Galin and Leo Fuyan were arrested this morning and brought under investigation.
It has been revealed that they were arrested while departing for China via Himalaya Airlines flight and were involved in gold smuggling through ‘break shoes’ which were recovered recently.
