Heavy rain in five states today (with three days forecast)
During the night, light to moderate rain is expected in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini states, as well as a few other states.
KATHMANDU: At present, the weather of Nepal is affected by the low-pressure system in the northern part of Bihar and nearby.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light to moderate rains are occurring mainly in a few places in Lumbini and Sudurpaschim States and one or two places in the rest of the states.
Across the country, the sky will be partly to partly cloudy in the afternoon. Light to moderate rain is possible in some areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim states, as well as in a few areas of Koshi, Madhesh, and Karnali states.
There is also a chance of severe rain with lightning in one or two spots in the states of Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim.
