MP Sharma faces allegations of acquiring +2 educational certificate

KATHMANDU: MP Sunil Sharma, who was arrested by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of police, has been accused of obtaining the +2 educational certificate.

MP Sharma was detained on the charge of fraud related to his education certificate.

MP Sharma, a member of the House of Representatives from Morang Constituency No. 3, was arrested in the matter of getting an educational credential, according to CIB sources.

He was elected in the Mangsir 4 (Nov 20) election.

He had stated in Parliament that Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Finance Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat should resign from the one quintal gold smuggling issue on moral grounds.

Similarly, he also warned that if the people involved in smuggling are not investigated and necessary action is taken, he will go on hunger strike.
